We've named our new paving after green town
A green building firm has named its innovative porous paving system the Hebden 40, after Hebden Bridge, where the company is based.
"We are lucky enough to be based in a town where innovation and environmental awareness are the norm, so it seemed fitting we should name one of our key products in honour of this" said Green Refurb co-director Jason Elliott.
Hebden 40 is made from 100 per cent UV stabilised recycled plastic and is a durable, eco-friendly alternative paving surface for car parks, private driveways, caravan parks, cycle routes and pathways. Its permeable construction allows rain to filter back into the water table rather than run off into drains and sewers.
It clips together, is light and can be installed by housholders, saving them the cost of hiring contractors.
