WORKERS at a marketing company are being urged to get on their bikes.
The Mill Group, in Elland, are asking employees to take advantage of the government’s Cycle to Work Scheme.
The initiative aims to reduce pollution by offering tax incentives on bikes and equipment.
Joint managing director James Titterington said: “We work with our clients on various green initiatives, from handy tips in saving money and energy at home to short films on new heating systems like BioMass.
“So it was our turn on corporate responsibility and what better than a bike ride? We are not only saving on carbon emmissions but also saving money by using less fuel.
“I’m really looking forward to enjoying our summer,” said Mr Titterington. “I’ll have a perfect bike ride using the canals on my way in to work and home.”
