A 26-year-old has suffered serious head injuries following an accident in Sowerby Bridge.
The crash happened on Sowerby New Road at its junction with Sowerby Street in Sowerby Bridge at around 2.25am on Sunday, October 6.
The incident took place after a VW Polo failed to negociate a bend and collided with a stone wall.
The victim from the Halifax area suffered serious but not life threatening head injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
Another passenger, a 22-year-old man, was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for treatment to non life threatening injuries.
The driver, a 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
