Ash Green Community Primary School took 50 Year 5 children to London over two days for a spot of sightseeing.
The pupils saw landmarks such as the London Eye and Trafalgar Square as well enjoying a cruise on the River Thames.
Jenny Holden, Year 5 class teacher, said: “This was a fantastic day, even with the tube strike!
“It would not have been possible without a kind £500 donation by a charity named Birkby Babes.
“With their donation and some funding through school it meant we could offer this once in a lifetime trip to the children for only £30, which included the train fare, bus ticket, river cruise ticket and tea.”
