An amateur art group in Elland has created a cycling themed exhibition in the run up to the Tour de France in Calderdale this summer.
The display at Elland library is part of a larger exhibition honouring the town and the surrounding area.
The exhibition was created by budding artists as part of their weekly classes.
Course leader Jane Pugh said: “ We paint using watercolours. The group has been going for around five years now.
“We are hoping that some of the tourists coming for the Tour de France in July may detour and find us as there will be so many people here.”
Susan Mitchell is a member of the group which she describes as “dabbling artists.”
She painted several of the pieces on display, including one pictured above, which took her several weeks to complete.
She said: “It’s a local friendly group and anyone can join. We have people coming from Rastrick, Brighouse and other areas.”
She added: “We were inspired by French posters of an exhibition in Paris.”
In keeping with the French theme, over half of the pieces on display are in homage to the Tour de France.
She said:“ Anything to promote Yorkshire can only be a good thing. I just hope all of the hype pays off.”
The exhibition runs until July 16, with the Grand Depart reaching Calderdale on July 6.
