Halifax Irish Football Club raised £400 in the month of Movember to support the work of Overgate Hospice, Elland.

Elland company Combserve Combustion sponsor the team. Managing director Jason Mitchell requested that Overgate’s logo adorn shirts.

Club manager Chris Ellerby said: “Those who could grew a beard. We plan to do more fundrasing later in the year for Overgate Hospice - a charity close to all of our hearts.”

Overgate volunteer ambassador Nicola Regan received the donation on behalf of the charity at the club’s Natty Ash training ground.
