Bus driver cut free after two buses crash in Halifax

A bus driver had to be cut free from his bus after an accident in Skircoat Road, Halifax.

Two fire crews were sent to the bus depot at about 8.10pm on Saturday night after the crash involving two buses.

The man was freed from his vehicle by Elland and Bradford firefighters along with a technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton.

He was taken to hospital where he is thought to be recovering.
