Beavers raise money for Forget Me Not Hospice

Southowram St Anne’s beaver colony have presented the Forget Me Not children’s hospice with the £50 they raised by doing odd jobs.

As part of last year’s Children in Need, the beavers were given a special sheet to fill with coins they had earned by doing chores such as washing up or tidying their rooms.

Val Jagger, from Southowram St Anne’s, said: “We were all very proud of our little beavers as they showed off their decorated Pudsey sheet and told the group what they had done to earn their coins.

“We are pleased to help raise money for this very worthy cause.”
