Calder Valley Search and Rescue clock-up 800 call-outs

West Yorkshire Police called on the help of the search and rescue team to scour a large area of farmland and woodland for two missing vulnerable males.

The team commenced searching just after 7 am yesterday(Sun) and shortly afterwards the two men were found by a dog walker.

Medics from the Calder Valley Search and Rescue team were then despatched to the scene to assess the men who were found to be suffering from hypothermia and minor injuries.

It was the 800th call-out for the service which was founded in 1966.
