Calderdale Magistrates Court cases

Cases heard at Calderdale Magistrates Court included the following:

Christopher Jinks, 31, of Oak Avenue, Ashenhurst, Todmorden, was given a community order with unpaid work for 100 hours within 12 months and was electronically tagged and ordered to pay 90 costs for burglary with intent to steal and handling stolen goods.

Joshua Bentley, 19, of Mixenden Close, Mixenden, Halifax, was given a community order with unpaid work for 40 hours within 12 months and ordered to pay 60 costs for handling stolen goods.

Jordan Womersley, 19, of Hambleton Drive, Mixenden, Halifax, was given a community order with unpaid work for 40 hours within 12 months consecutive to any existing work order and ordered to pay 60 costs for handling stolen goods and using threatening and abusive behaviour.

Adrian Wright, 42, of St Anne's Road, Halifax, was fined 500 with 15 costs for driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after an accident.

Michael Jonathon Freeman, 20, of Furness Drive, Illingworth, Halifax, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with theft and fraud by false representation.

Clifford Jim Walton, 56, of Dodge Holme Court, Halifax, was committed to Bradford Crown Court for sentence after admitting breaching a non-molestation order.

Craig Anthony Hill, 39, of Myrtle Drive, Illingworth, Halifax, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Keeley Judson, 40, of Beech Villas, Beech Road, Sowerby Bridge, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Christopher Keegan, 24, of Moor Bottom Road, Halifax, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with affray with unlawful violence and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Jamie Lee Keegan, 23, of Moor Bottom Road, Halifax, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with affray with unlawful violence and possessing a class A drug.

Arfan Mir, 25, of Harvest Court, Halifax, was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court charged with shoplifting, and two charges of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.

Luke Robert Brueton, 19, of Baker Fold, Pellon, Halifax, was given a community order with unpaid work for 60 hours within 12 months, ordered to pay 54.99 compensation with 60 costs for shoplifting.

Nancy Darlene Shackleton, 49, of Copley Road, Halifax, was banned from driving for 17 months and fined 335 with 75 costs for drink-driving.
