Craig George, from Calderdale SmartMove, said: “We are very grateful to The Screwfix Foundation for donating these much needed funds to support our charity. The funding will provide our volunteer maintenance team with decorating materials and tools to help maintain our service user’s properties so they feel more home-like. We’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the fundraising – it’s been a great help to us.”

Jim Connell, store manager in Halifax, pictured with Mr George, said: “We’re really pleased one of our local charities has been awarded funding. It’s fantastic to see the money we have raised being invested into such a worthwhile community project.”
