A group of dancers in Halifax is collaborating with some contemporaries in France to produce a live music and dance performance on the eve of the Tour de France.
The Cycle Exchange project involves connecting the two groups of dancers, with the Halifax dancers working from the Orangebox and the French dancers - black blanc beur Juniors - operating from their studio in Trappe.
The groups meet and share ideas online during workshops every Sunday from 11am-2pm.
The sessions will culminate in a performance showcase of urban, street and contemporary dance at the Orangebox at 6pm on June 29.
The project, which is being run by Outta Place, who work with young people who hail from challenging circumstances. has been funded by Arts Council England and Calderdale Council.
