A charity worker from Taiwan has come to Mytholmroyd to learn campaign skills. In a five week internship at White Ribbon Campaign UK, Hao-Mei Wu, pictured with Dave Parker, will work on the charity’s Violence Against Women and Girls campaign. Director of WRC UK, Chris Green, said: “We are happy to have May with us. It’s always good to have new people join the team this time, with someone from Taiwan, there will be some real benefits of insights from a different culture.”

May said: “I studied in Britain before, yet have never come to West Yorkshire. I feel privileged to stay in such a beautiful place.”
