Excitement is mounting as the 68th annual Halifax Agricultural Show draws closer.
The eagerly-anticipated show will hit Savile Park on Saturday and promises to be an action-packed day for all the family.
From Cattle and Cavies to Horses, Donkeys, Pigs and Sheep, there’ll be lots of farmyard fun.
A display of vintage vehicles will also add a touch of style to the day.
President of the show, Jean Whitwam, said: “The day is going to be brilliant and non-stop from the morning.
“We’re hoping that each section has a good turn-out and everyone has a good day.
“It’s going to be a great day and we just hope that people come out, support the show and keep it going.”
The show will also include a Handicraft and Produce section, where awards for goods including eggs, chutney, cakes, greeting cards, photographs, jewellery will be up for grabs.
And don’t miss the Courier’s penalty shootout stand for a chance to win top prizes.
Gates open at 9am and tickets on the day cost £10 for adults, £5 for children, OAPs and students and £25 for a family ticket, or book online to receive reduced ticket prices.
