Fire crews from Halifax fire station were called to two fires in the early hours of Saturday morning.

At 2.20am they attended Brunswick Gardens, Halifax, to tackle a small house fire caused by a faulty fuse box.

The blaze was under control relatively quickly.

Then, at 2.50am, they were called to Wharf Street, Sowerby Bridge, where a car had been set on fire.

The car was fully alight by the time they arrived but they managed to bring it under control.
