RETIREMENT is on the menu for a woman who has worked for nearly 25 years as Halifax Town Hall's cook.
Joyce Orly, 62, has hung up her apron, receiving 27 bouquets from workmates past and present to let her know just how much she will be missed.
"The last day was fantastic", she said. "They made a big fuss.
"There was Champagne and strawberries and it was just magic from start to finish."
She said she would miss her colleagues. "I worked with a fantastic set of girls and I will miss having a laugh. But it's got to the point where the mind is willing but the body is weak."
She now plans to take a well-earned holiday in Tenerife.
