Members of the Greetland Goldstars JFC, Elland Rugby Club, Halifax Sports Acro, Badminton Club, Greetland Community Centre and The Oliver King Foundation receive a defibrillator machine.

The Greetland Community Centre now has the use of a defibrillator thanks to the Greetland Goldstars.

All clubs using the centre will have access to the potentially life-saving equipment, which is used to treat people with heart problems.

Greetland Goldstars coach Luke Youell said: “I put the idea of buying a defibrillator to the club and after months of research and hard work we’ve purchased it,

“We have 12 people from Greetland Goldstars, the centre and other clubs trained to use it, so hopefully there will always be someone around who can use it.”
