Friends and family of Halifax mum Emily Phillips held a fund raising night in her memory.
The 25-year-old died in an accident in Boothtown which also left her two children and boyfriend injured last month. Her loved ones organised a curry-oke night at Ziggy’s Spice House in Halifax town centre, including entertainment and a raffle. The night raised £200 which will go to the Boothtown and Claremount Road Safety Group. Emily’s cousin Kirsty said they wanted to thank everyone who supported the event, especially Intersound for providing a DJ.
