Healthy start to the day at Salterhebble

Salterhebble Junior and Infant School's annual Farmhouse Breakfast

Salterhebble Junior and Infant School gave their pupils some food for thought by holding its annual Farmhouse Breakfast.

A selection of tasty treats were on offer to pupils at the event, which was aimed at promoting the importance of children having a healthy breakfast before they start lessons.

Every child was invited to join in for a healthy start to the day, with school chairman Kevin Stewart (pictured) also enjoying breakfast with some class five and six children.

If your school is holding any special events, we’d love to hear about them. Let us know at newsdesk@halifaxcourier.co.uk or via Twitter or Facebook.
