Hedgefest tuned up for a second successful year with seven bands on stage at the day-long music festival in Northowram.
Nate and the Dogs kicked things off in the early afternoon, with Halifax group The Mexanines, who recently supported Brighouse band Embrace, rounding off the evening’s entertainment at Hedge Top Cricket Club.
Also appearing were The Belt Of The Celts, The Void, Small Words, Fading Sunlight and The McCarrons.
Club treasurer Steve Talbot said: “It went a lot better than we hoped it would at 11am in the morning when the heavens opened.
“We thought we wouldn’t get it on but we ended up with a really successful event.
“About 450 people turned up throughout the day.
“We had various food outlets, including The Porkery, East Meets West and The Crepe Company, as well as bouncy castles.
“The last three hours were the most successful of the day - there was a good crowd right until the end.”
