The kids are back at school and the nights are drawing in. BUT it’s September and the sun is still shining across Calderdale.
After a few blustery days recently it felt like autumn was upon us but fear not - the summer sun is still set to grace our skies.
Here’s a peek into the forecast for the week ahead:
Today (Wednesday) will reach highs of 23 degrees C at 4pm this afternoon. Make the most of sitting out in the garden this evening, with temperatures still at 21 degrees C at 7pm.
Tomorrow (Thursday) is not as warm as Wednesday but it’s by no means doom and gloom as not a single drop of rain is forecast to fall. The morning will start at 15 degrees C at 08am warming up nicely throughout the day - reaching a high of 19 degrees C at 2pm and dropping back to 15 degrees C by 8pm.
Friday’s forecast is less optimistic with cloud and rain predicted throughout most of the day.
Saturday and Sunday’s forecast is edging its bets - with rain, cloud and sun predicted throughout. Though Sunday, looks more promising as rain is not forecast to flow until around 4pm Sunday.
Positive vibes from across Calderdale to keep the sun shining throughout September, please!
