Kate Hardcastle has been granted ambassador status for the Diana Award.

Retail guru Kate Hardcastle will be supporting the Halifax Courier’s Shop Local campaign.

The award-winning Calderdale businesswoman has backed the Courier’s campaign to support local independent businesses including shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Huddersfield-born businesswoman has been campaigning over the past few years to save our struggling high streets and been working with local businesses to offer her insights and give them a much-needed boost and stop the depressing decline of local high streets across the district.

Kate is also the founder and chairwoman of The Charity Dreamgirls group, which has been using music and song to raise money and awareness for charities since the organisation was founded in 2007.
