Beanbags balanced on the heads of children as part of a family fun day at Beechwood Road Park, Sowerby.
The event – held by the Upper Valley Family Services – saw kids and their parents involved in a family Olympics which included the beanbag run along with sack, running and egg and spoon races, frisbee games and rounders.
The day formed part of an initiative to promote healthy living and involve families in outdoor activities, said community early years practitioner Gemma Taylor.
She said: “All the feedback that we got from them was that they really enjoyed it. The children in particular enjoyed the races.
“We had rounders, frisbee, ball games, the parents were given the opportunity to join in with the races.”
