Ladies Fellowship enjoys musical performances

The Ladies Fellowship enjoyed musical performances in a celebratory Anniversary weekend.

The Ladies Fellowship was led by Beryl Haigh. The quartette: June Asquith played piano, Susan Marshall violin, Simeon Marshall trumpet and Lynda Hill trombone, entertained an audience of ladies.

The Anniversary weekend enjoyed a festival of music from Wrexham Songsters, including songs by the full Songster Brigade and solos on trumpet and tuba and a vocal solo. Wrexham Band united with Halifax Band. Weekend leaders were Lieutenant-Colonel Doug Rayner and Mrs Sheila Rayner.
