Magistrate court cases

Cases heard at Calderdale Magistrates Court included the following:

Christopher Carter Walsh, 39, of Salterhebble, Halifax, was jailed for a total of eight months for two charges of assault and criminal damage.

Paul John Ideson, 24, of Halifax Road, Todmorden, was fined 100 with 60 costs for obstructing a police officer.

Carol Graham, 45, of Eldon Street, Boothtown, Halifax, 50 costs and sentenced to a supervision order for 12 months with 40 hours of unpaid work for assault.

Catherine Lord, 37, of Moor End Road, Halifax, was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay 50 compensation and 40 costs for assault.

Matthew Ackroyd, 25, of Bracewell Drive, Halifax, was ordered to pay 150 compensation and 60 costs and to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work for assault.
