Marie Curie Cancer Cure have said merci to the people of Halifax after they raised £387 for the charity over the course of the Grand Départ.
Marie Curie had volunteers at supporter hubs in Hebden Bridge and Ripponden Bank collecting donations and giving out commemorative wristbands.
Local businesses and communities also got involved in Le Tour fun by holding their own Grand Départy in aid of Marie Curie.
Jen Aspinall, Community Fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care, said: “The atmosphere was one of overwhelming support for all things Le Tour. Everyone was extremely generous, and the money will help Marie Curie provide more free care to terminally ill people and support to their families.
“Just £20 pays for a nurse to look after someone with a terminal illness for an hour, and the £387 raised will help to care for more patients and their families.
