There will be a service of dedication to mark the completion of the new Cross Hills Methodist Church building.
The service will be led by the chair of the West Yorkshire Methodist District, Reverend Dr Roger Walton and is by invitation only due to the reduced capacity.
But there will also be an open day on June 14 when it is hoped people will come along to view the new facilities and hear the church’s proposals for using the enhanced facilities.
For those who had previously used the old wooden building which had been on the site for nearly 40 years, the improvement in facilities will be immediately noticed.
Reverend Francis Neil, minister at the church, said: “As the church prepares to move into this wonderful new building we are deeply thankful to God for bringing us this far and look forward with a great sense of anticipation, hope, excitement and joy to all that he calls us to in the future.”
