New-look Post Office completed

Three new self-service kiosks have now been added to complete the modernisation of Halifax Post Office.

The open-plan branch has undergone an extensive refurbishment as part of a major Post Office investment programme.

The new-look site has had new, open-plan counters installed, including a dedicated counter to accept mails.

The branch also boasts two private consultation rooms where customers can speak to specialist advisors about the Post Office’s range of financial services products, and homephone and broadband services.

Post Office regional manager Martin Rouse said: “We’re delighted with the changes that have been made at Halifax Post Office and are confident that customers will be just as pleased.

“This modernisation programme is ensuring customers are served in a more modern retail space, and the changes mean increased convenience and greater service options.

“The dedicated mails counter means customers sending multiple packages or letters can drop these off for a quicker services service, while our new self-service kiosks offer an expanded range of mails services and retail products.”

More than 2,000 branches have already been modernised as part of the Post Office’s multi-million pound investment programme.
