Avid readers need to be quick off the mark as tickets are selling quickly for events at the Pageturners festival.
The festival, which is the first of its kind in Calderdale, kicks off on World Book Day, Friday 7 March.
There will then be a week full of events in schools, libraries and town halls across Calderdale.
The official launch is on Saturday 8 March at Central Library, Halifax, which will opened by the Mayor of Calderdale, followed by games and stories and a Treasure Trail down to Eureka.
Calderdale Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities, Coun Steve Sweeney, said: “I’m delighted, but not surprised that the Pageturners festival has proved so popular.
“There are some great events happening, and although many are sold out, there is still some availability left for the later events in the festival programme.”
