Dozens of photographs have gone on display in the Piece Hall Art Gallery.
The images, captured by amateur photographers within the Calderdale boundaries, show wildlife at its beautiful best.
Among those to enter were Gary Burke, Julie Edwards and 20-year-old Isaac Wilson.
The competition was held in response to a professional photography exhibition at the Bankfield Museum.
Gary, whose picture of five newly hatched swallows at Makinholes Youth Hostel was one of the runners up, said: “I was fortunate enough to get five of my photographs in the exhibition which I was really pleased about because I’ve never really done any serious photography before.”
