Proactive policing was out in force as Crime Prevention Days were held in Boothtown, Siddal and Southowram.

Working alongside partner organisations, officers gave out crime prevention advice, leaflets, number plate kits and permanent ultra violet marker pens.

PC Anna Law said: “Operations like this are very important and I would like to thank everyone who helped out. By talking directly to people we can pass on important advice to make it more difficult for thieves and burglars and help to reduce crime.”
