Colder, clearer conditions arriving late in the day.

Strong, blustery winds through the day, with gales in places, decreasing towards evening.

Tonight, there should be clear spells and a few showers with a noticeable cold breeze.

Any showers will be wintry over the highest ground and there will be frost in places.

One lane is blocked with queueing traffic on the A629 Halifax Road at Ainley Top Roundabout because of a broken down lorry in the roadworks area.

Traffic is slow on the A58 Whitehall Road eastbound in Wyke between the Rookes Lane junction and Hellfire Crossroads.

There is also heavy traffic on the A644 Wakefield Road eastbound between Brighouse and the A62 Cooper Bridge Road junction.
