An NHS drop-in session will be held today at New Beginnings at the Threeways Centre, Ovenden, from 2pm until 7pm.

The sessions give the public the opportunity to let health bosses know their views on the future of NHS services.

Some of the sessions have been criticised for being poorly advertised and held at awkward locations.

At yesterday’s event at Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre, approximately 12-15 members of the public attended the event between 2pm and 4.30pm when this reporter was in attendance.

An organiser was overheard saying that the number of people there had already exceeded the total number of those in attendance at Brighouse.

If you were at any of the drop in sessions, please get in touch and let us know how it went.

Rosemary Cook, spokesperson for Calderdale CCG said the NHS wants to hear from as many people as possible.
