Last week’s snow means some people in Calderdale will not see their rubbish collected for nearly a month.
Calderdale Council says although its teams tried to catch up after the weather suspended collections on Monday, those who have been missed will now not have their bins emptied until next week.
Recycling collections will take place as normal this week.
Some homes in Hebden Bridge, Bell Hall in Halifax and Greetland are among those known to have been missed.
