FC Halifax Town can move another step closer to Wembley tomorrow if they avoid defeat at home to Kidderminster (5.30pm kick-off).

A place in the Skrill Premier play-offs will be guaranteed if Town draw or win against the Harriers at the Shay.

If the Shaymen lose, it would still take a nine-goal swing in goal difference for sixth-placed Braintree, who have to beat Grimsby, to stand any chance of catching Neil Aspin’s side.

Town can finish third if they better Grimsby’s result, which would mean they would play the second-leg of their play-off semi-final at home.

If Town do finish in the top-five, they will play the first-leg of their play-off semi-final on either Wednesday or Thursday, with the second-leg next Sunday and the final at Wembley on Sunday, May 18.
