Year Two pupils from St Mary’s Catholic Primary School were invited to a sleepover to find out about night-time.
Beth Harrington, from the school, said: “We did this event last year and it was a great success.
“The children came into school at 6pm in the pyjamas and did a night-time torch lit walk looking for nocturnal animals.
“They then had a hot chocolate and a bedtime story, followed by a film and snack at 8pm.
“They then went to bed in the staff room in their sleeping bags and had toast and juice before getting picked up at 9am.”
