Famous faces from soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale were in Calderdale as they took part in Tour de ITV.

The celebrity pub to pub cycle fun ride from The Rover’s Return in Weatherfield to Emmerdale Village’s Woolpack pub was part of the nationwide ITV Local Heroes campaign that encourages volunteering in local sport.

Colson Smith, Corrie’s Craig Tinker, and Emmerdale’s Nicola Wheeler, Gaynor Faye, James Hooton and Jamie Shelton left the cobbles of Weatherfield for a challenging ride that took them through part of the Tour de France route, including Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.

Presenters Matt Littler and Darren Jefferies, most famous for their roles as Max and O.B. in Hollyoaks, Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin and Jimmy Constable from the Big Reunion boy band 911, joined the cast of Emmerdale and Coronation Street on the day.
