Children at Savile Park Primary School, Halifax, supported a classmate in a game of wheelchair rugby. Calderdale Community Coaching Trust’s Andy Atkinson arrived with 12 sports wheelchairs for year five and six pupils to participate in a game of rugby with wheelchair bound classmate Armaan Jahangir. For the other children, it was the first time they had been in a wheelchair. Andy taught the children wheelchair skills such as movement, before putting them through their paces.

Savile Park support assistant Heather Stanton said: “At Savile Park we firmly believe in inclusion, and sometimes inclusion works both ways!”
