Students from Calderdale College will be strutting their stuff when they show off their creations at a World Couture fashion show.
Pupils will be modelling their own designs at the Viaduct Theatre, Dean Clough, between 6pm and 9pm on March 20.
Robin Smith, teaching and learning Champion said: “This year’s theme is world couture; our students have focused on different cultures from around the world to inspire their creations.
“Last year’s collection focused on putting life back into unwanted items, this year our students have designed, dyed and printed on the fabric and created original garments inspired by different art and cultures from Japan, China and Africa.”
There will be prizes available for the best designs and garments made, while students will also be setting up a photo booth for guests before they watch the show. All proceeds from the photo booth will go towards Next Steps Trust, a day care facility for young adults.
