Police have confirmed the identity of a woman who died from injuries following an incident in a Shipley supermarket yesterday.(Tue)
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Nicholson, from Bradford CID, said: “The woman was aged 36 and was from the Shipley area.
“As there are no suspicious circumstances a file has been prepared and passed to coroner and an inquest is expected to be opened in due course where the identity will be confirmed.
“Officers would like to thank the media and pubic for their assistance in helping to identify the woman.”
Officers were called to the Asda supermarket in Manor Lane, Shipley, at 8.37am following a report of a woman being found with serious injuries.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Early reports suggest she died as a result of a self-inflicted knife wound to her neck.
