A wintry scene from Kher solicitors office, The wharf, Sowerby Bridge. Taken by Tina Williams

As a blanket of snow covered Calderdale throughout yesterday, you’ve been sending in your wintry snaps.

Temperatures are rising today leaving barely a hint of the snow which fell all afternoon yesterday.

But you caught the snow before it melted in some scenic shots from across the region.

Tina Williams sent in the above picture of the view, from Kher solicitors’ office, of The Wharf in Sowerby Bridge.

And Jane Marriott emailed us in this photo of a fox out and about in the snow in the Pellon/Wheatley area.

Zahid Mirza sent in a beautiful picture of the snow-covered rooftops of Halifax town centre.

Mr MJ Rhodes sent in a photo of the view at Warley Edge and reader Selina Barkham sent in a picture of a car which had skidded at Whinney Hill Park, Brighouse.

Keep your pictures coming in - email newsdesk@halifaxcourier.co.uk or tweet us @HXCourier.
