Video: Two arrested as man suffers '˜stab' wounds in town centre assault

Two men have been arrested in connection with a Halifax town centre assault where a 21-year-old man received '˜stab like' injuries last week.

The incident happened after an altercation on Silver Street between 2am and 3.30am on Friday August 19.

The area around Waterhouse Street, and John Street with the junction of Crown Street, was sealed off to allow officers to conduct enquiries.

A 21-year-old and 18-year-old have now been bailed by police pending further enquiries .

Anyone who was in and around the town centre who can give any relevant information to police should contact 101 quoting 192 of the August 19.
