Warning over spate of burglaries in Shelf and Northowram
Police have warned Shelf and Northowram residents to stay vigilant following a spate of burglaries in the area.
A statement by Calderdale Valleys Police said: “We have been having a spate of burglaries in the Shelf and Northowram areas whereby the offender has been drilling wooden framed windows and lifting the latch.
“Please make sure that all windows and door and kept locked and for extra security add a lockable snap lock to the corner of the window frame.
