Police are urging drivers to prepare for more snow tomorrow.

The Met Office has upgraded its warning for snow for Yorkshire tomorrow from yellow to amber.

The warning is in place from noon tomorrow until around 3am on Saturday.

The snow is expected to start at around 3pm, becoming heavy in the evening and then lighter again.

Sergeant Rick Lyon from the Western Area Roads Policing Team, which covers Calderdale, urged drivers to be mindful of the weather warning and to tailor their journeys accordingly.
