A car flipped on to its roof after a two-vehicle crash in Halifax town centre.

The white VW Golf blocked the road around Broad Street Plaza, causing major delays for drivers trying to get into the town centre.

A 29-year-old woman and her six-year-old son were in the car at the time - the woman was treated for a cut to her hand and both received treatment for shock.

Bus services had to be diverted via Dean Clough while the vehicles were recovered.
