Eureka miniature store will be revamped as part of a £15,000 make over.

The Marks and Spencer shop inside the children’s museum will be updated to mark 20 years since it first opened.

Children can play in the shop by taking turns to operate tills and purchase goods.

Emerson, Eureka’s Director of Marketing and Development, said: “We hugely appreciate the ongoing support of Marks and Spencer. The replica store in Town Square is extremely popular, with children often queuing up to role play in the shop.

Jo Cresswell, store manager at M&S Halifax, said: “The 20th anniversary celebrations are a fantastic opportunity for Marks and Spencer to continue its investment in this educational resource.”
