THESE are the two men who tried to rob a bank wearing Ronald Reagan masks.
Detectives have released CCTV images of the culprits who - in a scene reminiscent of the movie Point Break - donned the masks and marched into the Yorkshire Bank in Queensbury armed with a sledge hammer and a crow bar.
A panic alarm was activated and the men escaped empty-handed.
Detective Inspector Ian Bryar said: “It is vitally important that we hear from anyone who witnessed this incident take place and has not already come forward.
“Even the smallest piece of information may help to identify the culprits, please do not assume that we would already know what you saw or heard
“Since the incident we have undertaken numerous enquiries, particularly around the black BMW which was used and stolen from the Manchester area.
“Forensic examinations are still being undertaken on the vehicle recovered, however, we still need the vital piece of evidence which will lead us to these men.
“As we have previously said, we believe these men may have entered a second vehicle after dumping the BMW on Chapel Lane. I would therefore like to re-appeal to anyone who may have seen this take place.
Anyone with information about the robbery on March 8 at 10.12am should call Bradford South CID via 0845 6060606.
