A screening of a film which often has audiences dancing in the aisles is taking place in aid of charity at Hebden Bridge Picture House.
Mamma Mia will be shown on Thursday, October 11 at 7.45pm in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Calder Valley Flood Victims. The film, which is inspired by the music of ABBA, tells the storu of Donna, who has lived on the Greek Isle of Kalokairi ever since her daughter Sophie was born 20 years ago. Now her daughter is getting married, and unbeknown to her, has invited the three men who may well be Sophie’s father. Meanwhile, Donna’s friends and girl-group members arrive to provide plenty of music and entertainment.
