Cinders is off to the ball - all over again

There’s plenty of traditional family fun to be enjoyed at Salem Methodist Church Hall, Halifax, this half-term.

The church’s Pantomime Society is back to present ‘Cinderella’ from Saturday, February 22, to Saturday, March 1. Debbie Barker takes the title role of Cinderella with Pete Brearley as Humbrella, Steve Ingham as Prunella, Andrew Moger as Baron Hardup and Sue Ryder as the Baroness.

The show’s producer is Robert Barker with choreography by Barbara Barker. The organist is Donna Turner.

Barbara Barker said: “This is a traditional fun-packed family panto with plenty of audience participation, two outrageous Ugly Sisters in Pete Brearley and Steve Ingham and lots of other familiar faces. Our yearly panto always attracts large audiences.”

Performance times are Saturday, February 22, at 4.15pm, Monday, February 24, to Friday, February 28, at 7.15pm and Saturday, March 1, at 2.15pm and 7.15pm. For advance tickets call 01422 356458.
