Year six students and their parents will be treated to a carnival atmosphere at the Ryburn Valley High School Year six open evening this year.
Pupils will demonstrate their circus skills and creative arts talents to entertain the young people who will be looking at secondary school choices this month.
A Samba Band, puppets from the Hebden Bridge ‘Handmade Parade’ and dancers from the Ryburn Dance Academy will open the evening.
“Here at Ryburn Valley we are very proud of our academic achievements, and our activities outside the classroom are also important in giving students a chance to try new things and stand out from the crowd,” said head teacher David Lord. “Our staff possesses a wealth of expertise, and are committed to sharing that knowledge to give young people the best possible start in life”.
The open evening is on October 15 at 6.45pm.
